It’s Funny.
On Youtube, when I release a “BAD NEWS” video, the thing always goes viral.
Just take a peek at our recent most popular videos, and you will see ALL of them are BAD NEWS.
In my last post I explained why I think these negative videos are important to make. People need to know that homesteading isn’t all rainbows and unicows.
BUT… Sometimes it is! Sometimes great things happen. And people should get to see that too.
And that is what is funny about Youtube. The BAD NEWS vids go viral, while the happy videos get hidden in the Yotube abyss.
Our latest 2 videos, BOTH HAPPY ONES, only got a few thousand views.
That is why I do this weekly round-up email, (and a great reason for you to be on this email list).
There is a VERY GOOD CHANCE you missed BOTH of this week’s HAPPY videos! Youtube didn’t share them with 98 Percent of our subscribers. I guess there wasn’t enough bad news in em.

We got the test results back from our Vet to see what was wrong with our Cows.
You may remember Luna and Honeybee both lost a pregnancy this year.
The news we got from the test results was the best news we could have got for this problem…

Maybe you noticed that I didn’t send you to our Youtube Videos, but rather our Odysee Channel.
I am so tired of Youtube’s atmosphere. The negativity. The censorship.
So I am making a change to our publishing process. In addition to Youtube (I know a lot of you out there won’t want to leave YT just yet, so for you, I will keep publishing vids there) now I will also publish videos on Odysee.
Long story short, Odysee is a place where you get to see the videos you want to see.
If you hit subscribe, guess what, you ACTUALLY get to see the videos you subscribed to see!
I suggest you subscribe to our Odysee channel and check the platform that is going finally challenge Youtube, it seems to be a place where BAD NEWS doesn’t always win!
Finally, I am excited to say Tomorrow our first LIVESHOW with the Homesteady Pioneers takes place.
At 4:00 PM EASTERN TIME K and I will sit down and talk all about the past year, everything that happened, lessons learned, and a bit about going forward.
