What Happened to Homesteady?

I started getting the emails a few days ago…

Hey! What happened to Homesteady?

I am sorry for disappearing like that! About a month ago we released a video, and then poof! We were gone!

Finally this week we released a video explaining what happened.

We got sick with Covid!

I have to say, it was pretty surprising. We live in the boonies, go to town only 1 time every few weeks for groceries, I thought we were pretty low risk for getting sick with covid!

But somehow we got it. It started with a fever and aches and pains, and progressed from there.

The good news is that we had a mild case (like most people who get it).

The bad news is that for us that mild case meant we felt like we had a cold for 2 weeks. SO yeah, production slowed down for a bit.

I didn’t want to make any videos that showed we were sick and have people worried about us. But now we’re feeling better, and getting the ball rolling again.

You Homesteady Pioneers may be wondering what to expect going forward with the Pioneer Program? We have not had a live show in a few weeks… what is happening?

I have some exciting plans for the Pioneer Program in 2021. In an upcoming video we will discuss Homesteady and what we have planned for 2021, so stay tuned.

We are a bit behind from being sick, and with the holiday break coming for a lot of people I have decided to just catch up and prepare for the new stuff in 2021, so there will be no live shows for the end of Dec.

This is one of my favorite times of the year. The work on the farm slows, we spend a bit more time inside by the fire.
