We have been working on this for MONTHS, and are so excited to start sharing it with you all.
The ALASKA OFF GRID CHALLENGE is starting.
This year K and I decided to take our family to Alaska, to live off the grid, learn as much as we could about off grid life, and decide if it was right for us.
We found a remote cabin, and a bunch of off grid experts to go interview, and got plane tickets!
If we were going to live off grid in a remote part of Alaska, we were going to need a lot of our tools, gear, and of course… our farm dog.
Alaska Airlines is pretty great with their carry-on policy, but they were not gonna let me carry on a homesteads supply of fencing equipment, solar panels, survival gear, and bear spray.
So.. I (Aust) loaded up the family van with everything we could fit (and a few things we couldn’t) and drove across 2 countries to our off grid cabin in Alaska.
This Friday, the adventure begins, and you can join us for the road trip!
